The Crazy Complainer

So lately I've been needing a radical change mainly in appearance, I feel. I think the thing that got me on the need for a change was seeing my very pretty single friends and going, wow I really don't even try anymore. My hairs in the ugly, always in a pony stage and I cant deal with it, I want it to be Baywatch long and then I want it to be short with much personality. Jared hates when I wear my extensions and they are some work but do give me a boost. And Jared would not be happy if I chopped it off again. But its sooo damn ugly -(sorry couldn't resist). Why cant there be way cute in between hair? why does the middle stage make you want to crawl in a hole and not come out till spring? (ps if you have middle hair and love it I'm not dogging you just envying your happiness). So that's the hair problem, next is the "no boob saggy ugliness" problem, not a big deal if your never naked... but I'm young and have the desire to be naked more often than my "had a baby body" should be. Its not something that I should let bug me cuz I'm a runner and breasts are very ridiculous items to run with, but someone I know points them out and isn't a fan. If the next time you see me I'm not looking quite the same, you'll know why. If I am the same, you'll know why I'm annoyed. lol. Right now I'm debating if i want to publish this.... hmmm. I will. If you hate it let me know and I'll delete it. If you have tips or suggestions, let me know too, I'll take what I can get.

September Tri

Its official I'm going to compete in my first Triathlon Saturday September 13th in the Ogden Valley Triathlon. I just paid the 75 dollar registration fee and I cant back out. It is a longer distance than most sprint tri's so instead of swimming 750 meters i'll be swimming 1000 meters biking 15. something miles and running 4 miles. (the normal biking is 14 miles and the normal running is 3.1 miles.) I'm going to purchase a wetsuit which will hopefully make the swim not so freak'n cold. This triathlon is the first equalizer tri which means that they are going to take the times from the other tri's in Utah and make it so that the men and women will be coming in at the same time, rather than men getting in and then hrs later women coming in (cuz were just not as fast). My friends husband, Jake is fixing my pathetic mountain bike so i hopefully wont be so slow. I was convinced that I was the worlds worst biker until me and my training partner Cassie switched bikes and it turns out I just have a really lousy bike. If you'd like to come watch, I'd love to have you there, I'm not sure how fun it would be to watch but they will be having live music, the Taste of Ogden Valley and activities for children during the race so it might be fun. (mark your calenders its pretty far away still). The race starts at 10 am. Hey if you want to tri there is still time come tri with me and Cassie!

my craft room

Me and Emily went to the parade of homes last week and of course they were wonderful and made you feel like you live in a dump but they also give you some ideas. Many of the homes have a separate room for crafts/ sewing and scrap booking. I've actually been wanting to tackle the laundry room for some time now (it gets so overwhelming so quickly) and I decided it would be a good craft area too. Today I bought some organizing stuff and a magnet board and set up shop. Because I knew it would be a big difference I took before and after pics (now you will see what slobs we are!)

heres a couple of pics from weber states fireworks last sunday. We went with our friends Mike and Emily and Jeff and Carrie and thier babies and Richard and Cassie (i bet you didn't think i could use "and" so much, i didn't learn anything in english obviously). one of the pics is of Jeff and Reily and another is of reily wearing his mommies sunglasses. the rest is of us, these are in all wierd angles i should learn how to take a picture.

Miss Money-bags?

So today I was informed by Jared that he wants to give me a large sum of money to spend how I please (except on household items). To explain he was paid on this paycheck a rather large commission on some of his recent sales. I'm totally not bragging, I'm just more unsure on how I would spend that much on myself. I'm a crazy saver and I feel guilty spending anything on myself, but there is alittle part of me that wants to go nuts and blow it all on an excellent shopping spree. So the reason for the all the sudden generosity.... he bought himself a playstation 3. I have to make this quick cuz i'm going on a run in 10 minutes. What do you think I should do? The angel says save and the devil says blow it. I'm thinking i'm going to finnish my pantry even though he doesn't want me to spend anything on the house, but what else should I buy? What would you do?

Miss 22

Miss just sounds younger than Mrs. , i feel like a teacher with the Mrs title. So I had my 22 birthday this past tuesday the 8th and thanks to everyone that wished me a happy day your awsome! (if you didn't i'm sure your still awsome) lol. anyway at 12:00 am the day of my birthday jared gave me a real Journey necklace, which if you dont know is a dimond necklace where they start out small and eventually get bigger signifiying our growing love. (good job jared). Jared was on his way to work in the morning and called to let them know he would be late but they said just stay home with your wife cuz its her birthday so he came back home and spent the day with me and Makayla. I had four haircuts to do then i was free to spend time out and about. Jared gave me my other gift durring the day which was the 1st season of animaniacs (which is still funny believe it or not). We went and saw Wallie at the mega plex and took Makayla which we wont do again till she is old enough to want to watch the movie. She managed to spill all of my reeses pieces out of the bag, pour the left over gatorade on my white capri's and scream louder than the movie. (she is amazing). So we went home so i could change and also change her cuz her white shirt had jr mint on it. We went to dinner that night at La Ferovia and it was delicious i had pizza and pasta and had to take most of it home cuz it was so big. then we hit the sack after i mowed the lawn and got makayla to sleep twice. So not a bad day!

ps she blinked in all the pictures except one and i look like i have a double chin in it (not my best angle.)

Cabin Time

This past wends we left for my families cabin in west yellowstone. After a 4 1/2 hr drive we reached my favorite place in the world. All of my imediate family was there along with my second cousins family the Rubishes (i'm sure i didnt spell that right). Anyway this is the last vacation we will have as a complete family because my brother is leaving for his mission in Cape Town S. Africa on September 23rd. The first night Jared and Zach went fly fishing on Denny's Creek but it got too dark so they didn't stay out very long. We ate some hobo dinners cooked nicely by the fire and I watched 2000 B.C. with the boys, ( Jared was tired, he'd been up since 5 and drove the whole way). The next day we went into town and jared bought a fishing hat, we ate some lunch at the Dairy Queen and wandered around taking excellent pictures. On the 4th of july me and my mom went for a 4 mile run to the lake and back, then after showers we all went to Hebgan Lake with about half of montana and played in the water. We got some sunshine but Jared got the most and was sunburned for the rest of the trip. Jared took the kids to a black cat booth and they purchased firecrackers and bottle rockets all of which are illigal here in Utah. They also got some stink bombs and blew up pot gut holes and tried to smoke them out, (all of which didn't work). I shot clay pigions for the first time and I hit one my very first shot! The next day Jared, Makayla and I got old fashioned pictures taken. when I get ahold of a scanner i'll put the picture in. It turned out really cute, Jared was an outlaw and i was a naughty cowgirl and makayla was a cowgirl. We had a lot of fun and plan on going up again next year and if we do were going to go into the park and get some Yellowstone pictures.
