Good day

Jared interviewed for a night freight position at Smiths in N Ogden and we found out today that he got the position! Better yet he'll be making about 5 dollars more an hour, so I'm just so grateful that it worked out. I had been really bummed that he didn't get the temporary position at Wal-mart that he had interviewed for (it was also overnight) but this position will be closer than that one would have been and its a permanent position and it pays way better. So I'm learning that Heavenly Father knows what is best for us and its better that I'm not in control all of the time :)

sometimes its just nice to make a list of all of your wants and then you don't have to carry them around in your head, you just know that they are written down if you need to turn to them. so this is my list

I'd... get myself a sprinkling system, front and backyard baby!

pave my driveway

have a custom gas fireplace installed into my unusable fireplace

put a window in my bathroom and have central air instead of a swamp cooler (my bathroom would be warmer in the winter time.)

have someone build me a room in my attic

purchase matching furniture

purchase the house next door (ugliest house in the world) and dose it, add on to my house and get a garage.

buy Makayla a bike

I know i really wouldn't need a million to do all of these things, but yet they sometimes still seem that far out of reach.

So I had a target ultrasound on Monday and they took some 3D pictures of the baby, everything looks great. The baby has a heart and a brain and all the stuff in between which is always good news, and he is still a boy.

Jared's doing well in his classes as of yesterday he had 30 hours completed and he's hoping to have his computer literacy class finished next week sometime. It looks as if the pell grant will go through so that is great news too.

Pantry progress

My Before pictures of our pantry, i've been in the process of remodling it for quite some time and i'm still not finnished but now there is no longer a drop off where the stairs are and i've built shelves on both sides so there is much better movement inside the place now.

A Happy Birthday

This year was a pretty funny birthday but a good one. When Jared asked me what I wanted for my birthday I said that I wouldn't mind getting a gift card to somewhere i like or if you want to surprise me with something then that is great too. After a certain amount of time I generally expect someone to know me, either that or know a friend of mine who knows me and can offer a good suggestion, and this being my 5th birthday with Jared (our first date was on my birthday) I figured he could come up with something. So this year he went to Hastings and got me a book on 100 Knitting Patterns, and i love him but i also dont know how to knit, I can crochet and he thought it was all the same and really i wouldn't mind a book on 100 crochet patterns because my crocheting is pretty limited but i thought it was pretty funny. I decided instead of having him take back the book I'd go buy some knitting needles and learn how to knit :)
For the rest of my birthday we went to the very fancy Quiznos to have dinner and then took a stroll around the mall where I found a purse that i'm really excited about for 50% off and that was my other gift from Jared. So if everyone gets an ugly sweater for Christmas you'll know why, but if you don't you'll know that i gave up :)
As a belated birthday gift I didn't have to tend children today and that was quite wonderful although i'm not sure if they'll have me tend tomorrow or if they plan on calling me to let me know whats up.. which is weird and kinda annoying all at the same time.

Busy mama

Sorry its been awhile, I've been working on several projects at once and I have pictures to prove it. I got back from girls camp on thursday so of course I had so much to catch up on house wise that i'm just barely feeling like i've got a handle on things here. I've moved the furniture around in Makaylas room to make more room although we wont need it to be ready for lots more months.

Jared shaved his head while I was away at girls camp and I'm still trying to forgive him, everytime I look at him I get reminded.

I've made 3 suits in the last little while and I have several more that I need to make too.

The saturday before i left to camp i took makayla to feed the ducks at beus pond and she loved it so i'll post pictures of that also.
