Oh boy!

Today I had an ultrasound and we found out that were gonna be having a baby boy. He is growing great and is 7 oz. I've finally gained some weight I'm now 4 pounds heavier, I'm pretty sure 3 pounds of it is in my boobs. I think I'm carrying this baby different than Makayla, I feel so much bigger than what I was with her, but yet I don't really remember when I really started showing with her. So now that I know I can start making my little girls room a unisex room, I'm thinking about painting surf boards on the wall or doing a palm tree with a toucan or monkey.. I'll have to sketch it out. I got the Dr's signature for going to girls camp, and today we have a swim check which I guess I also have to do, I'm gonna look so awesome in a swim suit, i wonder if they even fit..

a nugget of knowlege

I'm currently waiting for my dry pack re fried beans to be done so I can make some quesadillas. If you ever end up really poor and you have to use the #10 cans of dried food you have stored, sometimes they don't give you very many lids to go with these #10 can foods but I just learned that the butter lids to the soft spread butters (the big tubs) also work for lids for these cans. So if you buy the soft spread keep the lids when your done cuz they are pretty functional.

So this weekend is founders day, next week i'll be in Idaho at girls camp and I just found out that Jared will be in Manti weds. night till Saturday so i'll be a single mom for founders day. He asked if I'd let him go down there to sell living scripture stuff and I have to let him have a try I guess.

The re fried beans smell kinda like chocolate to me.. that's weird. So the Bear River home probably sold cuz its not on Blueroof anymore. Anyway If your in need of a friend this weekend call me k.

Now Applying in Tremonton

Since I am a good wife I'm constantly applying for jobs for Jared and today's jobs are in Tremonton, both doing production work, one for Malt-o-meal and the other for P & G. With each new application I consider him getting the job and us having to relocate and so I go on blueroof.com to see what kind of housing is available in these different areas and today's search I found a really cheap home that is 4 bedrooms 2 baths and is on almost a half acre of ground so that was kinda fun. It of course needs work but its not that old it was built in 79 and the price is 59,900 so its a deal, (its probably haunted or the verge of being condemned) :) . So ya that's my dreaming for the day. The mortgage payment would be super awesome in fact he could probably continue to earn minimum wage and we could make it ;). I'd prefer not to move but if we had to you know. so I'm gonna post some pictures of it and you can let me know what you think. (oh and guess what it has central air!)

Funny Ducky

These are some pictures from the other day, there were two ducks on our front lawn and Jared and Makayla tried to feed them. When Makayla saw them she kept saying "funny ducky, quack quack" it was funny.

new swim fabrics

Hey my first swimsuit sold yesterday! I just ordered more fabric to make some more swimsuits with, I'm also planning on making up another pattern or two so I'll show you the finished product when I'm done. These are swatches of what i ordered ,the top dots is for my friend Amy's suit I've gotta go to Michael's and get some solid black swim fabric because they were out online but the idea in my head is cute! the following 4 are ones I'm making for the tanning salon, if anyone is interested in a suit let me know. its hard to find cute swim fabrics online but there is some cute stuff if your creative.

Cant say no

Lately I've been trying to come up with ideas on how we can survive without being complete welfare cases. I've been tossing around the idea of selling our home and moving to an even cheaper home, believe it or not there are homes that are cheaper than ours i was looking at them yesterday. I really like our home and its really nice to have my salon finished and functional. but if we were to sell our home for 125,000 then we would be making a profit of 40 grand and we could put some of that into fixing up a cheaper home and paying off our cars and student loan and then all together having a cheaper house payment. The big issue would then be selling our home and if it didn't sell then we would know that this is where we are ment to be at this time. If Jared could just get a better paying job then we could make it here and not have to rely on everyone else to help us out. I wish our car would sell, everyone who has been interested in it wants to make payments to us for it and that is just not gonna happen. Jared keeps getting sucked into dumb sales jobs that pay commission and in no way are going to make us any money, its really frustrating because he has to learn from his own mistakes instead of listening to me. His latest side job is selling living scriptures, he wont talk to me much about it, tonight he is going to his parents to show them the presentation, I don't want to go I'm pretty annoyed with it. Last night i got a call from someone in the ward wanting me to watch their three kids 4 days a week from 8-12:00 for $15 dollars a day, being a person who apparently cant say no i agreed to watch them Thursdays and Fridays. I'm pretty sure I'll develop a drinking problem, I've never ever ever wanted to be a daycare person and i know I've never put my name out there as a person who wants to watch other peoples kids. Well in 5 months i wont be doing it i guess. i hope that you guys are all doing better and are enjoying your summer.

Potty Training

So today i decided was the big day to begin potty training, Jared isn't sure why i think it needs to be so soon, but i cant quite explain it to him either. Makayla is really a smarty and for the past month or so she tells me that she's gone #2 after the fact, so that's supposedly a sign that they might be ready. This morning i went to walmart and picked up a whole bunch of panties (including Cinderella ones, very important) and now i have her potty in the living room since we spend most of time there. During naps and at night i'll just have her in a diaper. I may go get some m&ms because she loves chocolate and use it as a bribe. One of the main reasons why i'm starting so soon is because in 6 months i wont have the time to watch her every move and train her with a baby here. And if i can avoid having 2 kids in diapers i will certainly try. Since its summer its not too cold to let her run around in panties and a t-shirt. So if you know of any great tips i'm happy to hear them, all in all if she decides that it is just not time for her i wont press it and i'll try again later but hopefully she'll give it her best shot.
