10 big ones!

My Darling Makayla is 10 months old! Holy cow time flys by. She is an excellent crawler and our second vaccume, which I dont like, but no matter how hard I clean she is able to find something yucky to munch on. She is understanding more and more each day and it is so incredible to me. I'm sure she knows far more than I give her credit for. I think the hardest part for me now is finding things to keep her busy so I can get things done! Any Ideas?

Makayla's 1st Raptors Game

This past thursday we got free tickets to a raptors game! We had general seating and after the third inning we snuck up to Mike and Em's section and got a seat out of the sun. We didn't stay for the fireworks at the end because Jared had to wake up early in the morning, but we'll be going to Founders Day and see some cool fireworks then this saturday! (feel free to join us :).

Camping Jefferson Hunt

I love to camp and had to get out of the house so I planned a camping weekend for Monte Cristo. On our way up to the campground the scenery changed from pretty greenness to winter and we finally reached a snowbank as big as our car and I said we better turn around and find a new campground. It was around seven on a friday and we stopped at every campground the valley has to offer to see if they had an open spot and none did. I was really getting sad but i'm also very determined and said well Anderson Cove has 70 campsites and maybe we should go there. Right before that campground was Jefferson Hunt and we decided to check it out. We couldnt find a camp host but we asked a guy there if he knew what to do and he said that someone had told him that the camp host would come around at night and pick up the fee. So we picked a nice spot and set up camp. Later on we find out that the bathrooms are all locked, so I had to squat all weekend long.. not cool. ANYWAY the camp host never came around and so it was kinda suspicious, and saturday night a forest ranger told us that someone had broken the gate to the campground and it was suppost to be closed because half of the campground was flooded. But we got to camp for free this weekend and I'm cool with that. I got a few pictures and would have taken more but the battery died.

Angel Lullaby

When I was just a baby my mom used to sing a lullaby that I loved and I've been meaning to look up the lyrics because I can only sing the chorus and hum the rest. So i finally looked it up tonight. Idaho Vacation?

This weekend Makayla and I went with my mom and uncle matt and my younger siblings to Idaho essencially for a "homecoming" for my Cousin Tyler Pond. It was mine and Makaylas first time away from Jared/Daddy ever, (since I was married). It was nice to get out of Ogden and visit with cousins and Aunts and Uncles but it would have been nice to have Jared with us too. Thursday and Friday were completely boring I stayed at my Aunt Camis veging out and watched a weeks worth of HGTV. Saturday was really the day that I've been needing, I went out shopping with My Cousins, Nikkie and Annie, and we just laughed the whole time and I'm sure if I tryed to explain what was so funny it really would be very inside so I wont. It was just great. Lately I feel so old and boring and going out with them was just like the old days when we'd laugh for hours and be really immature, I loved it! While we were out I bought a crazy colorful shirt that i'm sure you all will be seeing me in cuz its new. Oh ya I forgot, Saturday morning Me, mom and Aunt Cami went and ran in the first Annual Cancer Survivor Race in Downtown Idaho Falls, It was the windest d@mn day ever and my hands didnt thaw out until the last half of the race when I wasn't running against the wind. The course was really nice, it was a paved running trail the whole way and it went right by the Idaho falls temple and around the beautiful snake river falls. It is the first Saturday of June every year and if gas isnt too crazy I think you all should come up next year. It was 5.59 miles they said it was 5.25 but were very wrong. My time was pathetic but I was only worried about beating my mom and aunt, which I did. So the reason why I have a ? on the vacation part of my title is Saturday night I did 4 colors and 3 haircuts, with 1 style not including the haircut I did Saturday Day. I was really quite pooped when I finnished mainly because Makayla was so tired and sick of new people holding her, making me feel like a mean mom cuz all she needed was me. The next day she was very picky on who held her. Tyler did an excellent job on his talk and it makes me want to work harder on my spiritual growth and testimony. That pretty much sums it up!

The Drive in and Golf

So last night we couldn't find a babysitter for Makayla so we decided to take her on a date with us. I told Jared he had to pick something for our date so he decided to make it a "suprise". So we drove out to burger bar in roy and i'm like were eating we just ate and I'm not hungry (ungrateful i know). I ruined his suprise and we decided to drive around and think of a new idea and I said that we should go to the drive in. We first went to Carls Jr. for Jareds food (cuz you dont have to wait an eternity for your food there) then I went into Jamba Juice and got a smoothy cuz i really wasn't hungry. Then we went to Target and got lots of treats and snacks and a yogurt for Makayla cuz we didn't pack her food. Off to the Drive in we went and it was early like 7 early and we had to wait till dark (duh i know) We went to the screen that was showing Iron Man and Drillbit Taylor. One of Jareds friends from institute was there with her husband and I think her name was Jessica and his was Adam but you cant quote me on that anyway... We played a game with them that is kinda like speed only you can have more players, again my memory really isn't in its prime, and I dont remember the name of it but i think it started with an s. So after they totally blew us out of the water and won we went back to the car and set up shop for the movie. Makayla was not interested in watching Iron man at all but she was interested in our drink straws and candy... She was so tired and screamed until she finally fell asleep and we layed her down on the back seat of the car. Jared had seen Iron Man and I was very sckeptical cuz not all comic movies turn out good ie. spiderman and hulk (lame). But I actually really liked Iron Man they did a good job on it so kudos to whoever made the film. Well cuz were so smart, we forgot to turn on the car inbetween films and remembered toward the end of drillbit taylor. Our car battery died and I was super pissed and stressed,so i said some stuff and made Jared mad, he told me on his way out to find help that he would "never take me on a date again". And I told him where to go. But dont worry were amazing at making everything a fight so since we've been married for over 2 years its safe to say we are pro's, the real trick is to get over it and forget, that we are getting better at but are not pro's at. (friends already know this). So when he came back, he was the bigger person and apologized and I said I was sorry too and were friends again. The nice people next to us gave us a jump and saved us from having to call you good people at 1:30 in the morning to bale us out. Wow i didn't think it would turn out to be a journal entry sorry guys. ANYWAY today I went Golfing for the first time in my life and it was at the golf course right by the drive in, again i dont remember the name. We didn't keep score (i cant count that high) but I had fun, It was a busy day and i was rushed by Jared but when we are super rich i think we will go again! (this time we had a babysitter so poor makayla wasn't dragged along)
