My thoughts

My home is finally listed with pictures as of today! We've been working on the fence that was blown down and we'll have the east side of our fence finnished tomorrow because Jared doesn't have school tomorrow night with it being presidents day. I am so eager for the snow to go away again and for it all to warm up and green up, and I'm eager for pearwood (the condos next to us) to finally start on thier side of the fence that was totally trashed. I love fridays because its trash day and we have so much garbage were slowly getting rid of, it will make everything look so much better. There is a house I really want in N Ogden that needs a bunch of beautification but it has a two car garage and a huge yard with fruit trees (I really love my pear trees here) and enough room to grow for our growing family. Its currently under contract but the buyer is having a hard time getting financing so with a TON of luck it will fall thru and we can sell our place in time to snatch it up. If not I'll keep looking for something that is just right. Optimisum right? I really do love our home though and I don't mind living here until were able to get a sale. Ps, sorry if everything is spelled wrong I can't find the spell check with the new setting so you may have to sound out what I was trying to write :)

Darn Cute home in Ogden

Friday (Feb 10, 2012) is a much anticipated day, Jared will be getting his first paycheck and we will be putting our humble abode on the market! I've thought about selling our home for well over a year now and its kinda unreal, exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time. We all know the market isn't really awesome for sellers in fact I'm bummed that after 5.5 years of living here were really not going to see much of a return on the place as we had hoped for, but at least we shouldn't be going into the negative (crossing my fingers) and our home does appraise for more in this lousy market than we owe on it, although were listing it for less than what its appraising at too. I know you've seen some pictures but I wanted to put together a slide show of them all for this post..

I'm so drained

Came home tonight from watching the super bowl at my aunts house to find that our dog was missing and that her cord had "broken" again. Jared went out to look for her and it wasn't a minute later that she showed up at the house. Since the fence has been down she has "broken" two of her strong wire cords that we've put her on, the first one costing over $20 at pet co. Both times this has happened we haven't been home. So all my options include keeping a large dog in my tiny mudroom all day or putting her in her kennel so she can bark all day and dealing with my horrible jerk of a neighbor Robert Montgomery, who calls the dog catcher to ticket me. I'm so fed up. There was no tension in the cord on the ground it hadn't been pulled to its breaking point and my dog weighs all of 50lbs tops, someone has been cutting her cord so she will run off, leaving me with the problem of where to put her when she comes back and the repercussions of her being confined to a small space. So I was ticketed last week for a false claim that my dog was barking from 8-10 pm even though she is in before Jared gets home every night so at the very latest 7:30 and even then she isn't barking. I hate that people can trespass into my back yard and I hate that I have to fight this jerk off in court over a false claim. AGGHHH! STUPID PEOPLE!

The beginning of moving on

Thanks for all the congrats guys, my next Drs visit we should find out whether its a boy or girl so I'll try to keep you up to snuff.
Hey we can qualify! That means we could get a loan on a new place if and when we sell this place. Our Realtor walked through the place today and helped me get a healthy to-do list of things to make it more marketable and we could have the place up for sale as early as this coming Friday! Heres a couple more pics of the place that I labored to get :)
 The Master bedroom
 The bathroom
 Laundry room
My display towels I purchased and put together tonight
I used a twine type of ribbon to tie the two towels together (I know the picture isn't the best)

13 weeks

Tonight I had the thought that kids are supposed to help keep you from taking yourself so seriously, I seriously have a problem lately of being so serious. I should just get out more or something. So hey I've been dieing to blog about the thing that's been on my mind for a good long time now... Were gonna have baby number 3! I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and that puts me in the clear as far as miscarriage goes, so I feel "save" enough to share it with the 7-8 people who actually read this blog :). We haven't told the kids yet, I'm not sure I'm ready for the whole world to know and that's the reason why. I've been so nauseous with this baby, and it gets the worst at night. I haven't thrown up but that's pretty typical for me and my pregnancies. I hate trying to decide what to eat at night because everything looks so gross, and I have no desire to prepare or smell it. Jared and I have been wanting this addition for quite awhile, I'm actually glad it took so long because I have had zero energy and it would have killed me to try to fit in a rigorous homework routine with how I have been feeling. In case you were wondering my due date is August 7th, and I'm so worried its gonna get here way too fast. I've been stressed about where I'm gonna put this baby, since we have a two bedroom home. I talked to my Realtor Saturday and were going to find out if we can even qualify for a loan for another home before we even try to sell ours. I have a good feeling about everything so we'll figure it out one way or another.

Good Week

I don't know how many times I've posted about jobs that Jared has either lost or gotten in the past 3 years but its been a reoccurring theme in our life that's for sure. Right now were very, very blessed that he has found a job closer to home (Roy) and it pays more than what he has made at any of the jobs he's worked in the past 3 years! I am so happy that we were blessed with this job, it has been so scary since he has been working temp positions, we've been happy to have him employed but there has always been the question of whether he'll have a job tomorrow let alone the next month. So its very cool news to think that he'll be acquiring paid time off and be working 40 hrs a week (that hasn't really been consistent in I don't know how long), and all the other benefits you take for granted when your used to permanent employment.
The cherry on top of all of that is that I will be getting a Cricut that actually cuts right, I got one for Christmas this year and no matter what I've tried I have not been able to get it to cut things correctly, its either been smooshed and the lines never meet up in the same spot. So I called Cricut and they are going to replace it for me with the next model up which is so super nice of them!
Well my experimental casserole just beeped so I've gotta go...

gonna move, or have a really clean house

I've been cleaning, de-junking and organizing like crazy to get some decent pictures of my house for a near future sale ad. Part of me really panics when I think that my house will need to be so pristine when people come over to look at it, we just really have too much stuff and I'm gonna need to do another overhaul on every room before we put it up for sale. These are the pictures I've gotten so far, first of my kids room.
so this is what the toy part of the room looks like minus big clutter, and below is what it looks like when its been picked up on an average day.
 Before                                                                          After
This is our lovely kitchen with knobs where they are supposed to be, a much nicer and newer back splash, and new faucet!
its amazing how much stuff can be housed on a countertop, I moved my bread machine and paper pile for these pictures.
